Volera (“the app”, “we”) provides B2B quantity pricing for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data the app accesses and stores.

Data we access

With the merchant’s authorization, the app uses the following Shopify scopes:

• write_products — to read and write the per-product quantity-tier metafield that powers pricing.
• write_discounts — to create the single automatic discount that activates the pricing function at checkout.
• read_orders — to attribute realized savings to pricing rules for ROI analytics. Order webhooks are a Protected Customer Data topic and return redacted data on non-development stores until the app is granted Protected Customer Data approval in the Shopify Partner Dashboard. We process order data to compute aggregates; we do not sell or share it.

Data we store

We store pricing-rule configuration, a mirror of tier data, and aggregated order attribution (amounts, quantities, timestamps) keyed to the shop. We do not store buyer personal data (names, emails, addresses).

Data retention & deletion

On uninstall, app data for the shop is removed. We honor Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/redact, customers/data_request, shop/redact). Since no buyer personal data is stored, customer-redaction requests have nothing to erase.
